When a tree dies we don’t blame the tree.
We wonder what we may have done wrong. Did we plant it in the wrong location? Give it enough water? Was the soil fertile enough? Did we under or over fertilize it? Was there an insect infestation we failed to notice?
However, when a co-worker, friend or family member fails we tend to blame them.
Don’t we have an obligation to help them succeed, overcome their challenges? There are very few people are completely self-starters or self- sufficient.
If we offer our help when someone is struggling or downright faltering, we can turn situations around.
It’s worth the effort.
